Yes…I am a regular at the Kool-Aid bar of Apple…. I love my iPods, my MacBook Pro (all 3 of them), but I have a love / hate relationship with my iPad.
Before you throw stones, understand, I have been a long time Apple apologist. I have risked career and relationships over the company. Co-workers can attest to how I have alienated members of our IS department, brought in an Apple rep to discuss the benefits of podcasting (in 2005), and have traveled the world with a set of white headphones.
I love my iTunes, at onetime had my web page hosted on iWeb, use garage band for music, cbt/video voice-overs, and podcast production.
Mainly it revolves around two issues… the first is that I can’t upload audio podcast from my iPad to my podcast host (Libsyn).
The second is there is not a way for me to transfer files to and from an external drive.
I carry my iPad with me and for the most part, it has replaced my laptop. I write all my blogs as well as client blogs on it. I build videos and manage my bank account from it. I did my full Asia tour this year with only the iPad…but it would be great to have a system that I can transfer files and upload files…at least give me flash and other tools that allow me to upload!
