Skill Award Workshops
We offer several workshops to help improve your skills. In each of these workshops you walk out with new knowledge, the new gear you use, improved hands on skills, and a cool skill award patch to sew on your pack! These are free workshops we offer- you only cover the cost of materials.
Introduction to Survival
This is a hands on introduction in a controlled environment that will jump start your outdoor skills no matter your background in the outdoor and adventure sports. We customize this workshop for hunters, hikers, mountain bikers, ATVers, and other outdoor recreationist. (Basic class $65 w/ materials fee and gear included)
Fire Craft (Basic-Advanced- Master)
Fire is the hallmark skill in survival. It provides warmth, hot food, motivation, and is a tool for so many things. Learn how to tap into this ancient skill to increase your odds of survival. In this workshop you will sharpen your skills for creating fire in all kinds of conditions. (Basic class $65 w/ materials fee included)
Presentation Skills for Guides, Outdoor Sales, and Outdoor Instructors
This workshop is specifically tailored for all levels of presenting outdoor centric topics. This is a 6-hour workshop allows each presenter multiple opportunities to improve their skills no matter what level they are at. The workshop is limited to six participants and upon request can be limited to a work group, leadership peers, or instructors. Rob has conducted training in the technology, DOD, Fortune 100 companies, and non-profits in this area. ($150-$350).
Field Craft
Mastering the survival, bushcraft, and self reliance skills to help you thrive in the back country. In this workshop your learn how to make your own gear, set up a bush site, build your own tools, and learn to not only survive- but thrive! ($275 w/ materials fee included)
Navigation Open your mind and release the true wanderer in you. In this workshop you will learn the basics of using a map and a compass to better navigate through terrain and gain confidence in your own skills. ($50 materials fee)
K9 First Aid
Taking care of your pup in the backcountry is a must if you travel with a 4-legged partner. In this workshop learn how to provide emergency first-aid to your K9.($45 with materials included)
Aug 6 2016- Adventure IQ Kids Survival Camp- Eagle Idaho
This is a free kids survival camp for those interested in a practical introduction to survival. Ages 11-15. Registration openes in July.

We are happy to come out and talk with your outdoor adventure group. We support Idaho Hunter Education Instructors, Boy Scout Troops, Hiking and Biking clubs, and many others. We do ask for a donation to directly support our annual Kids Survival Camp.
