Established in 1987, we have a comprehensive knowledge of outdoor adventures from mountain biking in the Southwest to shipwreck diving in the North Atlantic. Explorers at heart, we have run adventure training in every conceivable environment and situation possible.
Our Senior Instructor balances several passions. The first is a better understanding of why some people live and others die and has done extensive research on survival and performance psychology. The second is creating opportunities to teach core leadership fundamentals using outdoor experiences. The last is to simply get men off the couch and lead their families and communities. Much of our work aligns with the Wild at Heart philosophy. In 2003 Adventure IQ increased its focus on creating stronger bonds of men pursuing their hearts through the use of experiential outdoor activities.
Rob has been a Ground Combat instructor, led search and rescue teams, provided back country first aid training, and has over 30 years in adventure and experiential skills facilitation experience in North America, Europe, MIddle East, and Asia.
We have a solid methodology in training both adults and children at every level of back country readiness and survival. All of our workshops are hands on and our team works to give you the best training possible.
Our prices are competitive and we give back to our community each year through a series of free kids survival camps and seminars. When you train with us you directly support these efforts.
